Port
Said was named after Egypt’s ruler in the 1800’s, Said Pasha.
Today
Port Said is an attractive tourist location that is known for its
inexpensive shopping experience.
We
will start our tour by visiting the
National Archaeological Museum. This museum by the waterfront is an
excellent collection of the Canal’s history.
After
we leave the museum we will continue on to the
Military Museum where you will have a guided tour of the battle history
of the Canal.
A
leisurely horse drawn carriage will then pick us up for a ride and tour
of the city to see some of its famous landmarks.
After
this ride we will stop at some of
Port
Said’s shops to do some leisurely souvenir shopping. |
