One of
the main tourist attractions of Sinai is the St. Catherine’s Monastery.
The
St. Catherine’s Monastery has been a center for worship and learning for
over 1600 years. The Byzantine church inside dates back to the 6th
century and has never been damaged since then. You will see many
churches such as the Emperor Justinians’s church, the Mosaic of
Transformation, the Chapel of the Burning Bush, the Icons Gallery,
Jethro’s well and St. Catherine’s Shrine.
After
Lunch you will visit a Bedouin tent where you will be served tea the
traditional way. |
