Description of Tour

One of the main tourist attractions of Sinai is the St. Catherine’s Monastery.

The St. Catherine’s Monastery has been a center for worship and learning for over 1600 years. The Byzantine church inside dates back to the 6^th century and has never been damaged since then. You will see many churches such as the Emperor Justinians’s church, the Mosaic of Transformation, the Chapel of the Burning Bush, the Icons Gallery, Jethro’s well and St. Catherine’s Shrine.

After Lunch you will visit a Bedouin tent where you will be served tea the traditional way.

For Your Information:

§          Knees and shoulders must be covered while visiting the monastery.

§          Good walking shoes, a hat and bottled water are recommended.

§          Tour not suitable for people with limited walking abilities.
