Your
arrival at the port will be followed by a trip to the airport where you
will board a plane to
Luxor.
From the Luxor airport you will be picked up to start your tour.
The
city of
Luxor
contains many splendors that must be visited as a total experience of
Egypt’s past. The Nile River separates the city into two banks: East and
West.
We
will start our tour with the
West
Bank sites. The first stop will be the
Valley
of the Kings
where the tombs of the ancient kings were carved into the rock of the
valley so as to protect them from robbers. Inside the valley you will
see the famous King Tut’s Tomb.
Next
we will continue to Deir El Bahari where you will see the famous
Temple
of the Queen Hatshepsut that composed of three stories and is truly one
of a kind. It was used as a monastery in the 7th century B.C.
We
will move on and you will get a chance to see the Colossi of Memnon
which is the remains of the funerary
Temple
of Amenhotep the 3rd.
After
crossing to the East Bank, we will visit the amazing
Karnak
Temple, the ancient place of worship with its huge columns and
intriguing history. The amazing temple covers 100 acres.
The
last stop will be at the
Luxor
Temple. This temple dates back to the days of Amenhotep the 3rd
and Ramses the 2nd. |
