Description of Tour

This spectacular Alexandria Bibliotheca has been built only a few meters away from the original old Alexandria Library. It is one of the largest cultural and scientific centers, attracting people from around the globe. It is located on the Alexandria beachfront and overlooks the Eastern mina of Alexandria. The amazing library is a world center for knowledge.

Your tour of the library will guide you through all the main sections of the library such as The Youth Library, Library for the Blind, Planetarium, Science museum, and Conference Center to name a few.

You will then be left at your own leisurely pace to discover the wonderful facilities and books provided.

After the visit to the Library, we will proceed to have lunch at one of the famous fish restaurants in Alexandria.

On your way back we will stop to see the Qait Bey Fort. This fort was the original site of the Pharos, Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse built in 279 B.C.
